Sally Lynn Paradise-Pearsall, 68, of Mountain, Wis., formerly of Manistique, passed away June 12, 2008, at the AGI Health Care Center, Crandon, Wis., following a courageous battle with cancer.Sally was born in Manistique on April 13, 1939, the daughter of the late Leonard and Linda (Sjoberg) Walters. Sally married Dale Paradise and together they had six children. He precedes her in death.On Aug. 11, 2007, at the Living Faith Church of God, Crandon, she married Ronald Pearsall.Sally enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. They spent many great hours playing cards and games. One of her favorite pastimes was spending time with her husband picking berries, and tending to their garden and chickens.Sally was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.She is survived by her husband, Ronald; daughters, Debra (Richard) Fiorini, Gladstone, Diane (Brian) Stevenson, Gladstone, Donna (Edward) Leiskau, Crandon, Wis.; sons, Dean Paradise, Traverse City, Daniel Paradise, Brunswick, Ga.; sisters, Mary Ann Rhynard, Bay City, Carol Kocher, Westfield, Wis., Pat (Kenneth) Brown, Charles City, Va., Jean (Louie) Stoviak, Milwaukee, Wis., Jane (Jerry) Wolfe, Milwaukee, Wis.; brothers, Jon Walters, Wauwatosa, Wis., Steve (Jeannie) Walters, Minot, N.D., Dale (Celeste) Walters, Merrill, Wis.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Debra L. (Paradise) Fiorini, 52, of Interlochen, Michigan died on December 3, 2009 in Grand Lake Township, Grand Traverse County, Michigan, after being struck by a motor vehicle. Deb had stopped to assist at automobile accident site and was struck by another vehicle as she was assisting the injured. She was born August 30, 1957 in Manistique, Michigan the daughter of Dale and Sally (Walters) Paradise and attended Manistique area schools. She was a graduate of Manistique High School with the Class of 1975.On April 23, 1982 the former Debra L. Paradise married Richard J. Fiorini in Allen Park, Michigan. They have lived in several areas of the United States and moved to Interlochen just a few months ago, from Gladstone. Deb was loved by all and was a pillar of strength and support to her family. She was generous and kind, and loved her family deeply. She treasured her daughter, Shanais, her husband, Rick, and her four grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. An excellent chef, Deb owned and operated "Deb's Homecookin" in Gladstone for almost two years as well as the "Mediterra" in Escanaba before that. She enjoyed sewing of all types, cooking, fishing and reading. Deb is survived by her husband, Richard "Rick" Fiorini of Interlochen; daughter, Shanais (Scott) Strissel of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; grandchildren, Isaiah, Zechariah, Isabella and Ethan; sisters, Donna (Ed) Leiskau of Wisconsin and Dianne (Brian) Stevenson of Escanaba; brothers, Dean Paradise of Florida and Daniel Paradise of Georgia; her maternal grandmother, Lila Paradise of Manistique; mother-in-law, Helen Watson of Escanaba; sister-in-law, Fern (Danny) Berry of Rusk, TX; along with several nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; and members of the Paradise/Walters/ and Fiorini extended families.
