Född 1918-03-29 i Hemsjö, Hällesjö (Z) Död 2006-07-05 i San Mateo C, California, USA Ingemar O. Lundell Passed away on July 5, 2006 at age 88, of renal failure. He was a native of Sweden, coming to this country in 1946. He served in the Merchant Marines and then the Swedish Navy. His parents and six siblings are deceased. He has several nieces and nephews in his homeland who he dearly loved. When he arrived in America he felt he belonged and quickly got his citizenship. He was sponsored by his brother Bill and worked at Westinghouse in the San Jose area. Then became a businessman in San Francisco retiring at the age of 80. Ingemar has three nieces: Judy, Gail, and Linda, and one nephew Gary, all living on the West Coast. His special interest included the Bay Area Accordion and Swedish Clubs where he enjoyed the companionship of his many friends. He enjoyed performing with his accordion. Many of his compositions are still being played in Sweden over the radio much to the delight of his family. He is survived by his loving wife Bernadine; and five stepchildren who remember his warm, gentle nature, corny jokes and his readiness for any new adventure. (Källa: Find A Grave) |
