Alma Anna Ingeborg (Backlund) Wickstrom born December 13, 1911 passed September 28, 2005 at home in Modesto, Ca. Bojan immigrated to the U.S. on April 7, 1947 to the Port of New York with her husband Birger Wickstrom and her daughter Eleonore (John) Huggins of Weiser, Idaho. Her husband Birger preceded her in death.She leaves behind her joys of life, granddaughter Rochelle (Casey) Phillips; grandson, Darin (Janet) Smallen; great-grandchildren, Haley and Tyler Phillips and Tanner Smallen, all of Riverbank, CA; sister, Svea Karlson of Ostersund, Sweden; brother, Helmer Backlund of Stockholm, Sweden.Mor Mor always had time to listen to your problems and never passed judgement. She had time to watch the grandchildren, great-grand children and pets at any time. When you came to visit she always had coffee, hot chocolate, swedish cookies and coffee bread. Some to eat and always some for you to take home. Her sewing machine was always ready to mend your tears. Mor Mor loved her home, garden roses, baking, cooking, sewing and most of all, her family and friends.We will miss her so very much.
